Counselor Profile: Elaine draws on her diverse and extensive experience in her coaching. Her counseling skills are based on both clinical and corporate work and she brings the perspective of her broad based contact with employees to the coaching relationship. She is skilled at individualizing a client’s needs and customizing approaches to moving ahead. She provides career planning, assessments and coaching for those in transition using a holistic method blending emotional factors and a specific job search action plan. Programs are designed to offers strategies for understanding barriers and resulting in momentum.
In addition to her private practice, Elaine consults for JPMorganChase Career Services, providing outplacement services to downsized banking professionals. She is also affiliated with Career Resource Center, a career management consulting firm working with both individuals and corporate clients. She facilitates WEBS workshops for the Westchester Library System and is a mentor and supervisor for JCC staff. She has worked for Mt. Sinai Medical Center as a Training and Staff Development Specialist and has delivered workshops on team building, stress management, time management, career development and balancing work and family.
